Teams are not required but are strongly encouraged to register their team in Illinois. Teams receive season information and access to Illinois Festivals. It is free to register in Illinois.

A team must be registered with FIRST National and have a team number to participate in a Festival in Illinois.

Step 1. National Registration

Register at FIRST to receive a 5 digit team number and order materials. Register or log-in in the upper right hand corner. If you've previously registered teams, they will be listed in the dashboard.

Step 2. Illinois Registration

Illinois registration allows teams to participate in a Festival in Illinois. Registration is rolling through the end of the season. Festivals are added as they are planned.

  • Festival registration is "first come, first served."
  • Teams may attend as many Festivals as they would like. Each Festival costs $40 to attend.

Step 3. Illinois Payment

For each Illinois Festival a team intends to participate in, teams must remit a $40 payment to cover participation.
