The cost of parking will be $10 per day / per non commercial vehicle, $30 per day / per bus. There are two lots that are available for use during the Midwest Regional and vehicles will be allowed to leave and return once during the day.
Cars should park in the multi-level parking structure (Lot 7) adjacent to the Credit Union 1 Arena (just east on Harrison).
Oversized vehicles (buses, trucks, vehicles pulling trailers) should park in Parking Lot 1-B across the street from the Pavilion (south across Harrison).
Parking Lot 1-B may be used for overnight trailer parking.
The Load-in entrance for the Credit Union 1 Arena is at Gate 6 located on Congress Parkway on the North side of the Pavilion. (*Please note that this is the frontage road to the expressway, and is an alleyway - not a throughway.)
Remember that closed-toe shoes and safety glasses are required during Load-In. (This year, unload your equipment then please park your car and trailer in Lot 11. Then proceed to Credit Union 1 Arena Gate 6 to get the Pit Area.)
All robots, tools, and/or other heavy equipment must come into the building through the above designated Load-In entrance. Only small, manageable items will be allowed to be carried into the Pavilion through the front glass doors to the pit area. (Once you get to your designated Pit Area, you will have 20 minutes to set-up and organize your Pit. You can't unwrap or unbag your robot, just organize your Pit Area.)
Official Load-In times for the 2019 Midwest Regional are as follows:
1. Wednesday, March 06 - Starting at 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. (CST)
2. Thursday, March 07 - Starting at 7:45 a.m. until the pits open at 8:30 a.m. (CST)
