FIRST LEGO League Outreach Opportunities

FLL teams in Illinois are encouraged to take advantage of the numerous opportunities available throughout the year to demonstrate their robots, share their research projects, and help spread the word of the FIRST LEGO League program.

Information about various FIRST tournaments, community events, professional conferences, company events and expositions, etc. that are currently planned are found below.  Please check back often with this page as FIRST Illinois Robotics will continually update the page as new events are announced.

    • Teams signed up to perform demos are encouraged to bring their Project Poster in addition to a functional Hydrodynamics season robot. There will not be space for your whole project or repair kits, etc.  Please travel travel light! This will make walking in easier for you as well.
    •
    • Everyone attending should wear their team shirts/ spirit outfits. You want to look good! This event will be attended by members of FIRST headquarters in New Hampshire, so be sure to bring your cameras too and be ready to shine!
    •
    • Parking tends to be a bear. Plan an extra hour for parking, walking in, and finding the convention space. Parking for teams demo-ing will be reimbursed.
    •
    • An FLL table and Hydrodynamics FSK will be provided.
    •
    • Unfortunately, there is not really anything for teams to see at the conference. So please plan to attend only during your designated time.
